Our Business
Generation Strategy LLC was founded out of a lifelong personal commitment and passion for making a meaningful difference. We approach sustainability from a strategic management consulting perspective, and work with technical partners to deliver expertise across sectors.
We believe organizations that are sincerely committed to implementing and advancing sustainability do so as a core function of their business strategy. We believe that success in this arena starts at the top and becomes integrated into the organization's very culture.
We believe that the academic and business communities are uniquely positioned to advance sustainable development through their curriculum and operations as well as through their relationships with stakeholders -- suppliers, manufacturers, vendors, shareholders, customers, students and citizens of the communities where their products or services are made and delivered.
Who We Are
Generation Strategy president Kathryne Auerback is a strategy, corporate responsibility/sustainability, PR and marketing executive with 20 years of experience driving measurable results.
Prior to forming Generation Strategy LLC, Kathryne served as Vice President of Madison Environmental Group, Inc. where she directed the corporate responsibility practice including education, strategic sustainability planning, carbon management, and sustainability reporting for clients such as American Family Insurance and Organic Valley Family of Farms.
Kathryne earned her BA from the University of Hawaii, and MA and MBA degrees from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Her innovative efforts have been recognized by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, the American Advertising Federation, and the Marketing Communications Agency Network.
